Nat is one of my best pals. She was kind enough to share her pretty face (and ultra gorgeous lashes) with me and my brand new lighting system one evening last February.
At that point in time I really had no idea how to use a camera in any respect, not even the simple basics (aperature & shutter speed). I knew how to use good old auto and turn off the f*&^(*g flash. This is a true blue "point and shoot" session.
Here's my process:

Under and over exposed photos may not provide you with the most pristine results, especially if you're looking for a super clean shot. That being said, if you're able to find a way to embrace the grit and noise and really lean into it, you may end up with an interesting shot. It's a very rare occasion that a shoot becomes a complete bust.
